International students are required to have health insurance. Beginning Fall 2008, the required insurance fee is assessed with your tuition and fees and billed by KU.   If you have health insurance that is not provided by KU, you must provide proof of insurance to the International Student Scholar Services Office (ISSS), Room 2 of Strong Hall, by September 1st. If you are a GTA or GRA, please confirm this employment status with Human Resources and Equal Opportunity Office, Carruth O'Leary Room 135, for insurance purposes by September 1st.  If you have questions regarding the insurance fee, contact the ISSS Office at (785)
