The Bursar's office administers three student loan programs: Federal Perkins Loan Program, Health Professions Student Loan Program (HPSL), and Loans for Disadvantaged Students Program (LDS). HPSL and LDS loans are only available to pharmacy students. This office is responsible for award distribution and loan collections for these three programs. The University of Kansas Medical Center has its own Perkins Loan Program. You will need to treat any Perkins, HPSL, or LDS loans received there as separate loans from those loans received from our office.
